Hence, keeping its pace with the current food culture, where chocolate is favourite among my friends; the dessert offerings by FreshMenu are the best. Ama says they are cosmopolitan in their taste and easily appeal to the young taste buds. This list below will make you order and eat immediately.

Also friends, I have listed the desserts according to my wish list. Hope you enjoy them, just like me –

Lava Cake in a Jar

FRESHMENU REVIEWS LAVA CAKE JAR ALLABOUTREVIEW

Well this one is my personal favourite. I can eat it any time of the day. The gooey chocolate, as well as the cruchy nuts and especially the sprinkles of more chocolate on top. Well, who said too much chocolate is bad? Nobody. Not me at least.

DETAILS ABOUT THIS MEAL

This ‘cake in a jar’ is truly a delectable dessert. It is carefully designed with layers of dark chocolate, crunchy nuts and dry fruit crumble. A melody of dark chocolate sprinkle is added to make it all the more indulgent. Besides this dessert has won the hearts of many and is a stellar dish.

INGREDIENTS

Nutella Lava Jar

FRESHMENU REVIEWS NUTELLA LAVA JAR ALLABOUTREVIEW

This one is my second favourite. Yes. Like the above Lava Chocolate, this too is an all day dessert. Anytime is Nutella time. Especially with brownie on top. Mmmm yuummmm!

DETAILS ABOUT THIS MEAL

Napoleon may have had a hand in the invention of the tasty addiction that Nutella is – in his attempt to conquer the world, Napoleon froze British commerce resulting in the prices of chocolates to sky-rocket. Chocolatiers, out of necessity, added hazelnut to the chocolate rations and thus Nutella was born! Thank you, Napoleon. Imagine a jar of Belgian hazelnut ganache, Nutella topped with brownie crumble and nuts.

INGREDIENTS

Nutella, Peanut, Chocolate, Brownie Crumble, Belgian Hazelnut Ganache

Belgian Dark Chocolate Pastry

FRESHMENU REVIEWS BELGIAN CHOCO PASTRY ALLABOUTREVIEW

Again, dark and chocolate, two words that are like twins. The words were as if born together and to be together. Nothing can go wrong; no pastry can go wrong, when you have dark chocolate in it. So, one Belgina Dark Chocolate Pastry comin’ up!

DETAILS ABOUT THIS MEAL

The irony of sinful Belgian chocolate – because it was created by the Swiss! So whatever the fact, chocolate connoisseurs around the globe will forever be grateful to its creators and that’s a fact. Further, dark chocolate pastry is layered with some chewy-crushed nougat, a creamy Belgian dark chocolate mousse and topped off with a smooth, dual-shaded chocolate ganache. And who knew that a dark side could be this sweet!

INGREDIENTS

Dark-Chocolate Pastry, Belgian Dark-Chocolate Mousse, Chocolate Ganache

Red Velvet Trifle Mousse

FRESHMENU REVIEWS RED VELVET ALLABOUTREVIEW

Look at the colour. In fact, who wouldn’t like to eat it? This is my mom’s favourite. We always share, when we order this one. We also share rest of the desserts when ordered. Go ahead, ask your mom to order and share with her.

DETAILS ABOUT THIS MEAL

Trifle derived from the old French word ‘trufle’ means whimsical. Also, assembling a traditional English trifle without sherry-soaked sponge was considered a sacrilege – it isn’t surprising that the name ‘Tipsy Cake’ stuck. And why not give it a mousse-y twist… shall we? Further cocktail fruits laid on a bed of red-velvet pastry are layered with creamy mango-mousse, garnished with pistachio slivers and a dribble of red-velvet-sponge crumble.

INGREDIENTS

Cocktail Fruits, Red Velvet Pastry, Mango Mousse, Red Velvet-Sponge, Pistachio Silvers

Fruit Cake

FRESHMENU REVIEWS FRUIT CAKE ALLABOUTREVIEW

Finally, this Fruit Cake is best for my evening snack with milk. I simply love it. Again, it is a great combination when paired with warm chocolate milk. Need I say more? So you gotta try this for yourself.

DETAILS ABOUT THIS MEAL

Did you know that a 106-year-old fruitcake was found in 2017 in the finest condition, almost edible? Also fruitcakes date to ancient Rome where raisins, pomegranate seeds and pine nuts were folded into barley mash before turning into the alcohol-soaked, fruity wonder-snack. Further cherries and black currant-riddled pound cake topped with nutty crumble works wonders when you crave a quick sweet bite!

INGREDIENTS

Vanilla, Candied Fruits, Nuts
